Miscellaneous Archive

At the bottom of the Archive panel, from left to right, the following are indicated:

- The name of the archive currently open: wpparch.dbd is the default at startup. To change the patient archive, simply select one from all those listed in the drop-down menu and which correspond to the archives in the WPulsePen_Data folder.

- The number of patients in the archive and the relative percentage of occupation.

- The number of exams in the archive and the relative percentage of occupation.

- The green light on the right indicates the consistency of the exam data with those of the related patient (name, surname, sex, date of birth).

It is recommended not to exceed a few thousand patients per archive to avoid burdening its management.

You can create a new empty archive by right-clicking on the selector, choosing "New" and typing the name you prefer:

../Figure: Mouse right

../Figure: Patient Archive - New

At this point you can import patients previously exported from another archive, or perform new tests.

Periodically it could be useful to set aside the default archive wpparch.dbd and create a new one, for example once a year: the first one will always be accessible through the archive selector as indicated above.
To do this you must:

- Close the WPulsePen program.
- Rename wpparch.dbd, for example by adding the date, as wpparch_yyyymmdd.dbd.
- Launch the WPulsePen program: not finding the default database, it will create the empty archive wpparch.dbd for new exams and where it is obviously possible to import patients/exams exported from other archives.
